Un padre e un figlio lottano ogni giorno per preservare la loro attività di mandriani dopo un violento terremoto che si è portato via il paese, gli affetti e qualsiasi speranza di una vita normale. Uno spietato affarista vuole costringerli a lasciare per sempre la loro terra, perfetta per farne una discarica abusiva. Un western moderno che racconta la lotta di due uomini rimasti soli e disposti a tutto pur di non perdere la propria identità con la speranza di mettere giù nuove fondamenta capaci, questa volta, di resistere ad ogni terremoto. Disposti anche ad accettare, però, che quelle nuove fondamenta vengano posate sulla terra macchiata del sangue di un omicidio.

A father and son struggle every day to preserve their herding business after a violent earthquake that took away the country, loved ones and any hope of a normal life. A ruthless businessman wants to force them to leave their land forever, perfect for turning it into an illegal landfill. A modern western that tells the struggle of two men left alone and willing to do anything to not lose their identity with the hope of laying down new foundations capable, this time, of resisting any earthquake. Also willing to accept, however, that those new foundations are laid on the ground stained with the blood of a murder.
